Heston's music journey began in 1999, when he was gifted an abandoned Spanish guitar. He taught himself to play from a book and moved to Berlin where he performed for the first time in public at an open mic.
A local producer saw the performance and invited Heston to his studio where they recorded 15 demos.
He returned to the UK and started a band from London called 'The Deep South Project'. They headlined at notable grass roots music venues like The Troubadour Club, Dublin Castle, 02 Islington and The Bedford. Despite the early success, it became difficult to keep the band together without financing so they went their separate ways.
In 2018, Heston met Martin Youth Glover (The Fireman, McCartney, Killing Joke) at a cafe in Spain. They stayed in contact and 4 years later, Glover invited Heston to his state of the art recording studio Space Mountain in Andalusia. Youth was impressed with the songs and went on to produce Heston's debut album "Farewell My Love.
Youth also stars in the 'Oh Biddy' music video, shot at the western movie set Mini Hollywood in Almeria.
In 2025, Heston became a tribute artist to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. In June 2026, he performed as Elvis on a Spanish TV show Al Ciello con Ella, where he crowned the Spanish rock legend Miguel Rios the International king of Rock and Roll!

Heston Lee was seen on Spanish TV recently (imitating ELVIS PRESLEY) and suprising the rock icon
Miguel Ruis on his 82 Birthday. Heston 'as Elvis' crowned Miguel the new 'International Rock and Roll King'.
