Heston's music journey began 25 years ago in 1999, when he was gifted an abandoned Spanish guitar. He taught himself to play from a book and moved to Berlin where he performed for the first time in public at an open mic. At one event, he met a local studio producer scouting for artists and managed to bagg some free studio time.
With 15 demo songs in his bag, he returned to the UK and started a band 'The Deep South Project'. They gigged at The Troubadour Club, Dublin Castle, 02 Islington, The Bedford, and other iconic venues. Heston then decided to focus on his solo career gigging around the UK and Europe. In 2018, he met Martin Youth Glover (The Fireman, McCartney, Killing Joke). in a cafe. They stayed in contact and 4 years later Glover offered to produce Hestons debut album. They came up with "Farewell My Love" (released 2024) with Youth adding Bass parts. Youth also stars in the 'Oh Biddy' music video filmed at Mini Hollywood in Almeria, which is home to the classic western movies.
